Have a question about licensed day care centers in the area? Want some tips on interviewing home-based and licensed child care providers?

West Virginia Universitys new child care website (http://www.nis.wvu.edu/childcare) can provide that information at the click of a mouse.

“The new site is designed to provide resources for West Virginia University staff, faculty, and students, as well as those considering moving or commuting to the Morgantown area,”said WVU Vice President Scott Kelley, who chaired a Child Care Advisory Committee commissioned by President David C. Hardesty last spring.

Kelley said the new site is the result of work done by a communications subcommittee charged with promoting awareness of child care options.

In addition to the center listings and tips, the site contains links to information on the employee voucher program and information on area summer camps and programs. It will be updated as new information becomes available.
