West Virginia Universitys summer school will be no sweat to a lucky few who win summer session scholarships and parking permits at a noon-time drawing Wednesday, April 26, in the Mountainlair commons area.

Five summer session tuition scholarships, 10 summer session parking permits and prizes donated by the WVU Bookstores will be given away by the Division of Extended Learning to encourage students to take summer classes.

“In addition to offering summer classes like whitewater rafting and first responder training, WVU students have yet another motive to consider taking summer classes,”said Denise Reed from Extended Learning.”Plus students can get ahead in their studies and possibly graduate early.”

WVU Associate Provost Rosemary Haggett, Student Body President David Workman and WVU Bookstore Director David Lang will draw the winning entries.

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Students do not need to be registered for summer sessions to win.

Summer Session I starts May 23 and ends June 30; Summer II term is July 3-Aug. 10.
