West Virginia University students will hit the runway Friday, April 7 to raise money for WVU Childrens Hospital during”The Fashion Show of the Millennium.”Sponsored by the Resident Faculty Leader program, the fashion show will be part of that nights WVU Up All Night program and starts in the Mountainlair Ballroom at 10 p.m. A $2 cover charge will be collected.

The event will feature up-to-the-minute fashions from local businesses and national corporations, said Ron Williams, Lyon Tower Residence Hall Coordinator and fashion show organizer.”I wanted to do something fun that would allow students to give back to the community by raising money for Childrens Hospital,”commented Williams.”The fashion show is a way students of all nationalities can come together and do something for the community.”

Students began working last semester to prepare the ambiance of a European runway for the fashion show. Student models will present casual apparel, business attire, wedding fashions and eveningwear.
