Graham B. Spanier, president of Pennsylvania State University, will present West Virginia Universitys 2000 Bucklew Lecture on the topic Taking Charge of Change: The Land-Grant University in the 21st Century Friday, Feb. 25, at 3:30 p.m. at Erickson Alumni Center A reception will follow the lecture.
A national leader in higher education, Dr. Spanier chairs the Kellogg Commission on the Future of State and Land-Grant Universities. He also serves on the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges Board of Directors.
He is a distinguished researcher who previously served on the faculty at Penn State and in administrative roles at several leading institutions.
